Qi Gong and Buddhist Meditation
Qi gong is a form of Self mediation which
has been practiced for health and longevity in eastern Asia for over 3000 years. Qi gong is a moving meditation which uses
breathing techniques as well as relaxed body poses to increase and unlock the energy flows in the body. Qi gong has been proven
to have remarkable health benefits on the human body including reducing depression and lowering blood pressure.
Qi gong is the basis for a number of
things including Buddhism, Reiki and even Kung-Fu. This will be a fun class which is a great compliment to any of your practices
including yoga and Reiki. You will leave this class feeling both relaxed and recharged.
Edward
Anderson has been doing martial arts and Buddhist meditation for the last 12 years. He is a Buddhist disciple of the Shaolin
temple under the 34th generation Shaolin Monk Shi Yan Ming. In addition to martial arts and meditation Edward has also been
studying Reiki, Qi gong, Yoga and other internal arts.
Classes are held by appointment on Fridays at 7:30
