Intro to the Astrology Class

Cost $10.00  

A talk about what Astrology is, and its many uses as a tool of self-discovery. Julia will also talk a bit about what the year 2010 will bring about, based on the chart drawn up at one second past midnight on 01/01/10. There will also be a meditation to introduce you to the planetary energies.

Beginning Astrology Classes on Friday nights starting on 02/12/2010.

This is a Beginning Course in Astrology, the course length is 8 weeks, cost is $25.00 a class, or $160.00 if you want to pay for the entire series the first class. You will receive your own natal chart to work with, as well as handouts and homework every week.

Class I - 02/12/2010 - Introduction to Astrology, the symbolism behind the glyphs, brief explanations of the Planets, Zodiac Signs and the Houses, 7:00 to 9:00

Class II - 2/19/2010 - Modalities and Elements. An in-depth discussion on modalities, i.e., Cardinal, Fixed and Mutual, what that means and how it all fits together, as well as the Elements, Fire, Earth, Air and Water.

Class III - 02/26/2010 - Fire Signs. An in-depth discussion on the Sun, Mars and Jupiter; the zodiac signs of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius; the 1st, 5th and 9th houses.

Class IV - 03/5/2010 - Earth Signs. An in-depth discussion on Venus, Mercury and Saturn; the zodiac signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn; the 2nd, 6th and 10th houses.

Class V - 03/12/2010 - The Air Signs. An in-depth discussion on Mercury, Venus, and Uranus; the zodiac signs of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius; the 3rd, 7th and 11th houses.

Class VI - 03/19/2010 - The Water Signs. An in-depth discussion on the Moon, Pluto and Neptune; the zodiac signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces; the 4th, 8th and 12th houses.

Class VII - 03/26/2010 - Introduction to Asteroids. An in-depth discussion on Chiron, and an introduction to Juno, Vesta, Pallas Athena and Ceres.

Class VIII 04/2/2010 - Asteroids Continues, in-depth discussion Juno, Vesta, Pallas Athena and Ceres. In-depth discussion on the North and South Nodes, and the Part of Fortune.
